About Alex The Music Man
I’m Alex – a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music Therapy. I’ve spent the past eight years delivering music therapy across schools, disability services, and aged care facilities across NSW.
After working in a range of settings, I started Alex the Music Man to offer something more consistent and collaborative. A mobile service where every program is built with the client and delivered by the same person, every time.
I’ve worked with people of all ages and abilities, including within the disability sector, and I know how important it is for therapy to be flexible, responsive and person-centred. That’s why every program I run is shaped around the group, designed to grow with them, and adjusted to meet their needs as they change.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping, gardening, and playing in a band.

How I Work
From the first conversation to the final session, the focus is on collaboration, consistency, and making the process as easy as possible for you and your team.
We Start with
a Chat
It begins with a conversation to learn more about your group, your setting and what you’re hoping to achieve.
We Build the
Program Together
Programs are designed with your input. Whether you're a teacher, coordinator, or carer, we’ll work together to shape something that fits your goals and your participants.
I Deliver Every
Session Personally
No rotating faces or third-party facilitators I run every session personally, bringing all the resources with me.
We Adapt as
We Go
Programs are flexible and designed to evolve. As needs change, we adjust ensuring sessions stay relevant, engaging and effective.
